John would get incredibly nervous in a love confession, opening and closing his lighter repeatedly.

Pyro/John Allerdyce

In my mind, John has a loving side that he doesn't show to everyone. It's difficult for him to show that side because he is hurt and feels lonely, and he masks his true feelings with an arrogant attitude, but I think Pyro has that hidden loving side.
