Hair care pt. 2 !! Returning the favor

Honestly those two have so many parallels with how they see everyone in the sect as a potential enemy but deal with that in completely opposite ways. Shen Jiu with his learned helplessness not even trying to defend himself against or form meaningful bonds with others and Shang Qinghua who is willing to doing anything to prevent conflict because he fears his tower of lies will crumble at the first hit. Both isolate themselves, neither defend themselves.

The System had been very clear: User 001 had transmigrated into Shang Qinghua’s character. For the past ten years, as he struggled against the limitations of his child body, Airplane had tried to reconcile himself with the fate that awaited him—the sect burning because of him, his neck snapped by a demon’s hand—and hoped desperately that he could change it somehow. Except now… his fate seemed to have changed by itself? “You have indeed been selected to join Xing Jiao Peak,” the teacher repeated. “Do you accept?”

Airplane joins the Sex Peak and tries to make the most of it.

one day it's a box of bath oils (which of course can only mean sqq is telling him he smells and needs to bathe more...how rude), another day it's a hairpin (sqq must be mocking his messy hair!), then a fancy writing brush (have a pity on this one shixiong, this shidi already burns the candle at both ends every day!)

when shen qingqiu comes to an ding peak one day and gives him a box of pastries, shang qinghua is ready to weep. these MUST be poisoned, but he's also too terrified to confront shen qingqiu about them so now he has to eat them in front of him (as a formality, shang qinghua offered shen qingqiu tea upon arrival, he didn't expect shen qingqiu to accept the offer)

as shang qinghua unhappily bites into yet another pastry wondering which cyanide compound it's been laced with, he nearly chokes on it when he notices the intensity of shen qingqiu's gaze on him

'i-i-is something wrong, sh-shixiong?'

'if this shixiong's courting gifts are not to shang-shidi's taste, shang-shidi should have just told me so, no need to force yourself to eat them,' the corner of shen qingqiu's mouth is twisted down as he fans himself. 'does shidi prefer stationery to pastries? or jewellery? this shixiong can't read minds, at least not yet.'

What if, after some sort of an aphrodisiac pollen thats non-fatal hits them both, Shang Qinghua carefully takes care of Shen Jiu's pollen induced fever instead of doing anything about it in the way any other man would.

Shang Qinghua projecting his movements, feeling like shit himself but he can't just leave his scum villain in a state like this

Shen Jiu discovering his suspicious mousey shidi is soft... And safe, a traitorous part of his mind helpfully provides.

Somehow the two end up growing close because of this. Shang Qinghua is terrified at first honestly, why is Shen Qingqiu inviting him for tea!?

But slowly they fall into a routine of meeting for tea, and then? The courting begins. It's a hesitant thing, just a small but thoughtful gift at first sent Shang Qinghua's way. Something like a fancy caligraphy brush, or some high quality paper for personal use.

It's not until the 5th gift that Shang Qinghua starts to get the picture, maybe something like a poem or a painting that makes him get the picture because Shen Jiu notices hes a little oblivious despite accepting the previous gifts.

So Shang Qinghua brings him a gift in return. If someone can make his scum vilain happy and maybe not cause plot to happen, by all means! That's what he'll nervously tell himself at first, not that he believes he of all people could really make him happy.

But oh, happy they end up. Their courting is thoughtful gifts, brief touches of reassurance, lingering glances, Shang Qinghua is nervous to move to fast and scare him away. The only one that notices the change initially is Yue Qingyuan.

He notices Xiao-Jiu seems... Happier. And that his gaze slips more often to Shang-shidi, where it softens slightly. He's sad he couldn't provide it himself, but he's relieved he finally has someone he seems to trust.

Their first kiss is an accident. A head to close, an attention grabbed, but it was the push they both needed and they're kissing both sweet and soft, and hot and fierce all around their homes when they're alone. Shang Qinghua's kisses are gentle and affectionate, surprisingly chaste for a man like him, and Shen Qingqiu's kisses are agressive and possessive, sometimes there are teeth involved. Shang Qinghua is not at all against that.

By the time Luo Binghe shows up they've already exchanged their three bows and they're frequent presences on each others peaks.

Shang Qinghua stratigically distracts Shen Qingqiu durring disciple selection and Liu Qingge ends up with a new punching bag disciple.

Now ning yingying has started calling MF da-shijie whenever no one's around and MF has started to go a little easier on her shidimei(no she has not gotten kinder,she's still a dick but she has better things to ponder about rn)

At somepoint she ends up on a mission with her shizun(shen jiu) where she ends up taking some truth serum or sm and accidentally comes out to shen qingqiu

And suddenly..she's shizuns favorite?

Sj's favorites are obviously his girls and if anyone says anything to contradict his kids they will go missing for unknown reasons

Maybe ming fan isn't as much of a bully to luo shidi since now she doesn't feel like she has to prove herself as much anymore(she bullied binghe bc 1: sj didn't like him and 2:she's just kind of an asshole tbh)

And suddenly a doors been opened and lbh's TV starts to glow some familiar colors...
