nienor: she makes me so sad i love how her courage is described it just makes it so! much! more! gutting that she just so happened to be in the tolkien story that’s all about tragedy it makes me so sad that she was doomed

luthien: the icon herself what does it mean to become human to become mortal to reject immortality for an uncertain afterlife but with the slim hope of something greater beyond ALSO she kicked sauron’s ass and it was awesome ALSO she fought a vampire lady one time and stole her skin ALSO some guys kidnapped her and she stole their dog ily

arwen: my soft spot blorbo ily craftswoman arwen ily the part of the tale of aragorn and arwen where she’s faced with aragorn’s death and she realizes that though once she scorned the numenoreans whose downfall was brought about by their fear of their own mortality when she’s faced with death herself she realizes just how hard it is to bear :( also i love the role she plays in frodo being able to get his good ending also did i mention she does arts and crafts just like me
