You are telling me that in here Jetfire and Optimus have basically 2 adopted kids in Kicker and Ironhide. Optimus is a questionable parent at best, but Jetfire is amazing at it(even if a little bit overprotecting but in his defense one of them is a human and the other one is kinda dumb and he still seem to have trauma from that time when Megatron accidentally turned Optimus into space dust in armada).

Probably my favourite takes on both of their characters. I always had incredibly mixed feeling on Optimus as a character, but i guess the fact that he reminds me even more of my dad plays a role here. As for Jetfire he is perfect(not biased at all), I love how we get to see him not put with any bs and how he tries to act like the fun guy to keep the morale up(and not show how stressed or worried he is about everything) and only breaks that mask when he is alone with Optimus.

I also love the moments when Optimus just comforts Jetfire, or how much they worry about each other or that time when Jetfire basically called himself Optimus knight in shinning armor/"free warrior of the sky"(that line is not in the dub). They are so cute together.
