17. Jeremy Headcanon
this is a stupid headcanon but i definitely think andrew steals jeremyās lighter. iād like to imagine that the next time they end up in the same vicinity, either andrew needs a light and jeremy jokingly refuses to let him take his lighter this time or jeremy has to get a light from andrew and makes a joke about how āhe couldāve lit it himself if andrew hadnāt stolen his lighterā
i think they would actually get on really well. jeremy would ramble and andrew would cross his arms and pretend he wasnt listening but he secretly would find jeremy mildly amusing and an interesting enigma. i doubt andrew would buy the happy go lucky front that jeremy has going and heād find him interesting enough to pick & prod at the facade over the smoke breaks.
24. Underrated Character
i think matt is easily the most underrated character in the whole series. he sees neil and instantly takes him in as a friend, no questions asked. he knows shit doesnt quite add up about his dormmate, but he never pushes or makes neil uncomfortable. he truly just tries to be there and give neil a home hes always lacked. MATT IS SUCH A WONDERFUL HUMAN AND I ADORE HIM SO BADLY. he makes good on his promises, heās loyal. and he never stops respecting and giving neil his space while being there for him. SOBS. MATT BOYD I LOVE YOU SO BAD.

i don't think they'd be good for each other in a relationship but i like the idea of them hooking up... i feel like jeremy could follow directions and andrew would treat him way better than these other guys.... i think they'd be bad for each other and also could kind of call each other out on stuff... idk they just fascinate me
also there's enough personality similarities between jeremy and neil (surface ppl) and jean and andrew (depth ppl) (ask me about my surface/depth person theory) that I think there'd be something there....

Iām actually being so dramatic about this fic because it is NOT difficult to explain, itās an alternate timeline where Jeremy doesnāt get clean after the incident, which eventually leads to him transferring to the Foxes when his addiction goes public and it becomes clear that he canāt keep it under control anymore

The thing that Iām unsure of rn is whether to make the jeredrew just kinda an obsessive fling with endgame andreil and no hard feelings, or whether to make jeredrew endgameā¦ā¦..idk how Iād work it tho
Anyway its current name is āSilk (like a spider)ā and it explores a world where Jeremy finally starts to feel like he can let loose. Heās darker, angrier, and more violent than the version of him that we see in canon. Iām incredibly scared of going too far and mischaracterising him but ig we all have to take risks right š actually the relationship Iām most looking forward to exploring (after jeredrew ofc) is Jeremy and Kevin because Kevin is NOT happy about this turn of events. But also heās not not happy about it. Lmao
