Rick knowing that he'll miss Jerry while he's at work makes me sad, but I wish he were better at communicating because if he told the Smiths that he feels alone fairly often, I think they'd try to spend more time with him. For all their faults, they do care about him and worry about him, even if they don't know how to say it directly.
Of course, if MORTY told his family that he feels alone most of the time, it'd be a different story.
This is probably already been mentioned somewhere, but for the advertising in S9, production made a LinkedIn page for the company that Jerry gets a job at called, “The Agency.”
*I looked up “the agency rick and morty linkedin” and it was the first thing to come up. There’s also one for Jerry that’s from 2021. It’s an interview. He loves his bees, and is very proud of his award for, “Hungry For Apples.”
There’s even a reference to Rick, Summer, and Morty winning the Olympics in their description ^^^
So do we think Jerry having a job is going to actually be a permanent change that they’re going to show/reference? Or is he going to just immediately lose/quit it in the next episode? Or it just never gets mentioned again? Or maybe even Rick sabotages it on purpose
