Today’s Outfit: WILL SELF THE BUTT

- Two piece hot pink beach cover up with loose strip of fabric to be worn as a belt. All pieces have a floral pattern in blue, orange, white, red and green. The top is long sleeved with a neckline that’s nearly an open front. The skirt is ankle length with two slits to thigh either side.

- A book by Will Self entitled The Butt. A picture of a cigarette butt is stubbed out on the H. The choice to put the author and title in the same size and font, even with the former in white and the latter in black, gives the impression it is a single statement of intent. No, I don’t know how one would go about selfing a butt.

- Short sleeved black t-shirt with black and white picture of Abraham Lincoln in blue framed sunglasses and holding a red solo cup. Text above and below in matching red and blue says PRESIDENTIAL PARTY. He looks like he’s having fun.

- Stonewashed jeans with some sort of crudely drawn nightmare thing painted on the right leg. The thing has a single large blue eye with unattached orange and blue maybe eyelashes above, below the eye is a pair of lips parted wide enough to see the tongue. Protruding from the mouth is a lit cigarette with smoke. Attatched to the mouth, offcentre to avoid overlap with the cigarette, are a pair of green stick figure legs.
