Day 2 - Lion/Fighter
Sorry this is late, I got busy-busy yesterday! Here is Day 2 for Jeith Week, hope you guys enjoy it! @jeith-week --
James flew his MFE fighter jet through the air, practicing his formations. He'd usually do this with the rest of his team, but they all had other plans and he was really only doing this because he didn't have anything to do. He'd already read and re-read the mission briefings, studied his textbooks, and tried unsuccessfully to teach Keith's wolf to play 'fetch', to Keith's great amusement when he walked in on them. His scanner indicated something flying towards him and he looked over to see the Black Lion approaching him. He did a loop in the air, making circles with his jet-stream, and chuckled when the Black Lion spun around as Keith flew him between them and then flew a circle around his jet. They then swerved around each other in a silent, airborne dance before they flew side by side and landed at an oasis. James sat in his jet quietly, waiting for Keith to make the first move. Ever since he'd gotten back, he'd been either too affectionate or completely closed off and looking almost guilty. James had accepted he had his baggage, and he knew not to push his rival. Based on the interactions he'd seen between the Paladins, he seemed to be the only one who knew that. They'd drag him into things when he was uncomfortable, they didn't give him time alone, and James had found him in their old hiding place a few times since then. Finally, the Black Lion opened up and Keith came out, taking off his helmet as he walked over. James opened the hatch of his MFE and took off his helmet. “Hey.” He greeted. “Hey.” Keith leaned on the open MFE. “What are you doing all the way out here by yourself, handsome?” “Just going for a flight. How about you?” James asked. “Black was getting restless, so I took him out for a flight.” Keith chuckled. “Might have to bug Lance into taking Red out, she hates staying still for long.” “No wonder she picked you.” James hummed. “Yeah. Maybe that's why she picked him after I was chosen by Black.” Keith sighed and reached over to flick James' bangs. “Ever sat in the seat of a Lion?” “Uh, no.” James shook his head. “I've ridden in it with you before but never the chair.” “Would you like to?” Keith hummed. James unbuckled and got out, closing the hatch behind him. “Sure.” Keith grinned and led the way up the ramp. James followed him and, at his direction, he sat down in the Black Lion's seat. Keith grinned and reached over to stroke his hair. “How does it feel?” “The seat's very comfortable.” James nodded. “Go ahead.” Keith said softly. “Give it a grip.” He nodded towards the handles. James raised an eyebrow but shrugged. What did he have to lose, anyway? He reached over and gripped the handles, gasping as he heard a low purring in his head. “He likes you.” Keith purred, climbing into his lap sideways and stroking his hair. “Why don't you try flying?” “Uh...sure.” James tugged on the handles a bit and the ramp closed as the Lion stood up. Then he shifted the handles again and the Black Lion took off into the air. He got the feeling it was running on mostly autopilot, because there was no way he was doing this well on the first try. Keith reached up and unzipped his suit a bit before kissing his neck, his hands trailing down James' chest. “Keith, I'm trying to drive.” James murmured, his cheeks pink. “You're a good pilot, Griffin, but you know that Black's doing most of the flying.” Keith shifted his position and started to grind against him, his legs on either side of him as he kissed him. He ran his hands through James' hair, and chuckled when James let out soft, suppressed moans. “No one's going to hear us here. My helm-comm's turned off, and the calls are blocked.” “Keith...” James breathed. “This is...it's too risky. People might come looking for us...” “Shh.” Keith kissed him again and grinded against him again. “I told them I was going on patrol and would be back in a few hours. We have time.” James shivered with pleasure as Keith brought his hand down to rest his palm against the growing bulge in James' suit. “Does...does the Lion have a full auto-pilot?” James asked. Keith reached over and pulled James' hands away from the handles. “See for yourself. Keep us steady, Black.” The Black Lion let out a purr as it flew on. Keith then reached up to fully unzip James' suit. “Let's join the mile-high club, James Griffin.” He purred as he started to unfasten his own armor. “Whatever you want, Kogane.” James said breathlessly, his eyes closed as he leaned forward to kiss him. “Whatever you want, just ask. I'm yours.” Keith pushed him back and kissed him deeply as he grinded against him again, even as they continued to remove each others' clothes. By the time they circled back to James' fighter three hours later, they'd already made love so much James was sure the Lion was going to need a good cleaning. Not that Black seemed to mind.
