Really enjoyed watching #TheBatman at my local #VueCinema (@vue) #MattReeves / #RobertPattinson's take on Batman felt really original, one that's not really been been portrayed this way on screen before - more detective and more brutal and yet still a bit naive and still learning his bat-craft, considering this is essentially Batman Year 2. It's more #Batman than (Emo) #BruceWayne in this movie, but Pattinson does a great job in the suit. He's also supported by a great cast as well; #ZoeKravitz #JeffreyWright #AndySerkis #PaulDano and a totally unrecognisable #ColinFarrell! The feel of the film felt like a blend of #TheDarkKnight and #Se7en, and that style worked really well for me. Kept me absorbed throughout the nearly 3 hour runtime (which didn't feel like it at all). Definitely worth watching IMO, although just don't go in expecting to see a #JusticeLeague or even a #TimBurton or #ChristopherNolan style Batman, this definitely ain't that. There is a quick easter egg after the end credits, but it's not worth staying for.
