Hey everyone, so I had a great time this week. It was awesome, and everyone in this fandom is awesome. Like seriously dude.
So here is my freeday post. A shitty playlist of songs for John and Dave. Its kind of a mix of songs that make me think of the books/of the main characters/songs John would listen to.
TWIFOS2 Day 6: Thoughts from John Cheese
John at some point probably: Dave, we know there are alternative universes, we have been in one, so what if somewhere there is a universe like Planet of the Apes, but instead of Apes, the world is taken over by mice.
Dave: John, what the hell. It's 3 am how did you get in my house?
John: The Brian finally succeeds in taking over the world, then what is his purpose? What happens to pinkie in a world of super intelligent mice? Will the mice kill the stupid ones? Or will they keep them around for entertainment purposes.
Dave: Please leave.....

So I would like to apologize for being so late today. It was an insane day of having to do school work and timed assessments and it was overall not fun, and I have a tendency to do these on the day off (besides my kickoff post) so yeah...

This Week is Full of Spiders 2, Day 4 - Character Traits
What are character traits? Words about someone’s personality, who they are as a person. I googled that. So, Dave made a list of what he likes about John and Amy, though he probably got a little off-track in some spots. Classic Dave.
I’ve always really loved the character traits found in these characters. The way John combats uncomfortable things with humor is nice. The way Dave can get caught up in his own head is nice. Amy’s matter-of-factness is nice. Those are character traits, right? I’m not actually all that great at reading into media. I’m excited to see what other people come up with.
(Also, Dave is absolutely one of those people who writes with smaller uppercase letters as lowercase letters.)

TWIFOS2: Favourite Scene I rounded the corner and saw the tool-shed and was unsurprised to see the door was standing wide open. The lock was hanging there, unhooked, and that was no surprise, either. I had put the key back on the nail by the kitchen door and any cop with a warrant could have gotten in. I went to the door, swung it open and saw two things that could not register in my mind. The first was Amy. Ah so here is my contribution for today in shitty art form. My first time reading this book, this scene, the whole backyard scene, withdrew me completely from the world. If a fire alarm was going off I probably would not have noticed because my thoughts were only on the words on the page. I don’t even remember breathing. It blew my mind and it is probably one of my favourite climaxes I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
