Dee’s Valentine Doodles Part 1!

I MADE AN INFLUENCES BOARD THING! I saw @prfoundlysuperengineer​ + @wethatkindoforc​ do it and I wanted to try it out myself and uh I wanted to write more in depth about the choices but I don’t wanna make this too long so y’all get a bunch of quotes instead ^^’’. Honestly Jaz does have two more influences but I didn’t wanna overload the board so here are the main six! :D

Got tagged by @wethatkindoforc and I coulda sworn maybe @datwolfmonraz at some point or somebody else?? Idk the point is dee be unorganised in the tagging system so now might as well get to it! So eight thingies about Jaz!

The human AU versions of Jaz (i.e. Raven’s Edge, Wildstar, etc) would all probably have more body fat than Jaz, although all have the similar muscular physique of someone who can lift her weight and then some. Reason being is for one main factor: Junk foods. I refuse to believe that in a world where pizzas and tacos and burgers exist, Jaz wouldn’t munch the fuck out of that shit, especially pizzas because, and I quote: “I don’t think I can ever have bad pizza! I think on my pizza scale, it goes from good pizza to fuckin’...melt-my-tits awesome pizza! Point being: no such thing as bad pizza. Pizza is the bomb-diggity-dom.”

Super random and weird fact but some of Jaz’s weirdest vocabulary in any AU is her nicknames for fucking and she has a lot of them. Other names for it include “Smooshin’ booties”, “Dippin’ the wick”, “Monster Mashin’”, “Jumping the turnstile” and “Doinkin’”.

In every AU, Jazali has five siblings: three older brothers, a twin and a younger sister. Being a middle child and a bullied kid, it did give her a lot of hassle in her childhood. Outside of her siblings her family tree is quite big, she’d probably have loads of aunts and uncles and even more cousins. It’s why she doesn’t feel comfortable bringing people into her family home because usually whichever friend she brings over either her mum shamelessly flirts with or her nosy curious brothers will just stare at and ask loads of questions, not believing that their dorky young midget sister actually has friends.

Jaz’s Wildstar name is just shortened to Jazz with two Zs, but her full family name is Jasmine Abernale. The only other person who knows about it outside of her family is Olka, her Granok best friend and to everybody else, she’s just that random exile human named Jazz. If anybody asked about the single name, she’d just tell you that she was named after the music due to her “smooth and cool disposition”, but it’s because of two main reasons: first is that she doesn’t really like it and second is she’s afraid of people recognizing her surname and realizing that she is the daughter of the scientist Zayna Abernale.

Jazali doesn’t have many skills outside of fighting shit and singing with her Uke, but in each AU she has a random hobby she likes to do every now and then. Troll Jaz loves to surf in the summer whenever she is nearby a beach and just loves to swim around having fun. Wildstar Jazz also has a basic understanding of engineering when it comes to repairing her own hoverboard and ships, but it’s mainly knowledge she learnt by being self-taught and reading from a book or two. Raven’s Edge/Modern AU Jaz...is probably just super good at Mario Kart.

And speaking of the different AUs there is also the issue of explaining how she broke her nose in each of them, excluding the Raven’s Edge AU. In WoW, the basic story is that Jaz accidentally spilled an orc’s drink at a bar once during her teenage years and the orc mistook her cheery demeanor for mockery and decided she needed a punch to the face to teach her a lesson. Needless to say, she learnt to not mess with an orc’s beer. In Guild Wars, salad Jaz basically had her nose bent by tripping over and slamming her face right onto a tree trunk; reason being is that salad Jaz is less aggressive and more keen to avoid conflict than all the other Jaz’s. Wildstar Jazz got hers while she was held captive as a slave under the Darkspur Cartel, where sometimes she would be put into rings to fight other slaves.
