Everyone always talks about 'What if we got Emerald Armor'
'Emerald Armor would be so cool why don't we have it yet?'
but here's what I consider, what if Emerald Armor and tools did eventually exist, but it wasn't something the players could wear, but instead craft as a gift for villagers?
Think about it, What if you could give it to a jobless villager, and they become 'Village Defender Villagers' Villagers that normally just walk around, mainly following iron golems, but the moment anything attacks the village, they fight like an NPC version of players, swinging a sword, using a shield, and using a bow, and even with a very low chance, heal an iron golem that's taken damage.
I just think it would be neat, and I don't really think I've seen an idea like this concepted before.
Acutally, it could be a more intresting way to make wandering traders more useful, if they can give you random pieces of the emerald armor. Instead of crafting it yourself.

Does anyone else get really emotional when you see Animal Crossing villagers on someone else's New Horizons island when you had them on your New Leaf game?
I was playing with one of my friends a few weeks ago, and they had two villagers I used to have on my New Leaf game before I reset (Mira and...someone else, I don't remember their name-)
I recently unlocked the hotel, and one of the visitors had been Drift, and I had him on my New Leaf town, and I fucking loved him (in a familial way, I'm not weird). Every time I see him, I yell out "DRIFT!!!!!!!!!!!"
