I have two hours left in The Dating Dare by @authorjaycilee and it will definitely be one of my favorites for the month. I love books where characters grow and have to step out in faith. Tara and Seth have to work through their personal fears and reach for that love that makes them feel complete. Okay! When I asked onions and mushrooms on my pizza, I thought they would be mixed in the cheese like they do at Domino’s. I don’t like the way this looks! Shouldn’t they add cheese on top too and bake it together instead of add toppings on a freshly baked cheese pizza? And why are NY pizza slices so damn large? 🍪 A Sweet Mess by Jayci Lee was a true delight to read. It’s an #OwnVoices Korean-American (🙌🏻) romantic comedy filled to the brim with descriptions of yummy desserts and wine. No, seriously, I consumed an ungodly number of brownie bites while reading this book.⠀ .⠀ 🧑🏻‍🍳 Most of this book is set in a private villa while the main character works on perfecting her dessert dishes for a tv show. I think because of the setting and how the two love interests are basically sequestered away in this beautiful place, I felt like I was on vacation.
