He would struggle with social cues too, but because he’s a goober

He would flirt with you and be overly forward and then, if you don’t understand, he would think you were playing hard to get

It would take you a while to get out of the flirting phase with him

Neither of you realize the feelings are mutual

It might even take someone like Luke pointing it out

“I don’t get it man, I’m laying it on thick but it’s not working!” He’d gripe

“Jan, they’re autistic. You have to be straightforward,” Luke would sigh

“What do zodiac signs have to do with this?!”

Luke may have to intervene if the two of you are actually going to start to date

But once you start dating, things are great!

You’ll need to explain Autism to him, but then he’ll do his best to accommodate

If you get overwhelmed, he’s good about getting you out of a situation

But he may unintentionally go overboard

He’ll get something for you that he saw was made for people with Autism without realizing it’s something you’d never use

He means well, he’s just never cared like that before

I’m sure in the past he’s had people in his life with both neurodiversity and physical disabilities, but he didn’t care enough to get involved with them

It’s different with you though

He wants to know all about you, and autism is part of that

He wants to give you the world, even if who you are differs from what the world considers “normal”
