Even in serious situations, Jane just can't help himself. He is just an adorable Cinnamon roll. This is the first season, 12th episode and even here, Lisbon is just done with his shit but he has to give her that glance of "I told you so" Or maybe he's seeking approval? Who knows!

                maybe it’s meant for her, maybe it isn’t.  in her cloudy state of mind, she can’t tell.  but the song, or rather the sweet voice that blends it so expertly and effortlessly into the air, captures jane’s attention all the same.  her woes fade in the moment, temporarily forgotten within drying tears that dampen her face as jane looks up at audrey from where she lies across the other’s bed.  audrey.  ever so winsome, talented, beloved by all.  everything jane isn’t.  everything she wishes on every first star to be.  wishes, desires, dreams.  every star, every candle, every long eyelash that falls to her cheek.  if the fates are listening, they don’t respond.  audrey, whose mother was blessed by fairies.  audrey, who may still hold some of that blessing inside her, passed down for all anyone else knew.  jane, whose mother is a fairy.  jane, who’s one herself.  born to serve, not be served.  to bless, not be blessed.  gentle hands wipe at her face anything but gently.
