JAMES WALKER: So when was the last time you seen what you were doing, looked at yourself, and thought, “I’m a silly boy”?
ALEX HORNE: Ah, okay. I think last night. So I’m on tour with my mates which means I’m way from my wife. Which means I revert to being a male rather than a male with a female.
JW: Right
AH: So that means I can’t do anything that basic humans can do. I don’t untie my shoelaces. I don’t go to bed at night. I don’t wash my hands after going to the loo. I don’t do any basic— I don’t eat vegetables. I don’t do any sort of basic adult things. 
JW: Yeah.
AH: So yesterday at four in the morning I was thinking “well this is stupid.” I just couldn’t put myself to bed. So yeah it was yesterday. Or this morning I guess. I’m entirely useless without my wife. I don’t take— I don’t take my socks off when I go to bed. I’m just an idiot.
(Later in the interview he admits to taking a nap earlier in the day. I can imagine he’s one to let his sleep schedule get completely fucked without adult supervision.
Also he is despondent that linguine is just spaghetti to the point he jokes about hating it as his last meal on death row, but he lies politely about liking his meal when the waiter takes his dishes away.)
