im really loving bonfire of the vanities. the late 80s yuppie scene is super interesting to me. the glengarry glen ross of it. the american psycho of it. 25 year olds making millions of dollars over the phone every day. getting all sorts of stress related medical issues. its so fascinating. ive honestly been reading it every day for like a week now which is just astounding considering my bookhopping ways. something about it just holds my attention so rapt. loving this world of "new york" which it envisions
