The Night Of (2016)

A VERY GOOD DRAMA MINISERIES!!!

Throughout The Night Of, Jack Stone is a lawyer portrayed as a divorced lonely man with an unsightly, socially stigmatized eczema. Due to the latter, he suffers from an allergic reaction to cats. However, Stone shelters the cat of the murdered victim though he attempts to send it to an animal shelter several times during the show.

So what’s the deal with these two? We see the lawyer can clearly identify with the cat who is unwelcomed and deemed “ugly” by the shelter employee. Stone is tolerated and occasionally pitied by his peers. It’s no wonder that Stone would have a soft spot for a similarly rejected creature that is nevertheless rather sweet and inoffensive.
