Don't ever change Jared! 🤣 (recorded from his IG stories)
Jared Padalecki in Guarding Stars, as Jack Stapleton ✨
complete article
i would love to see Jared do more complex roles. don't get me wrong, i am looking forward to see him play Jack Stapleton because uggh the nostalgia of romcoms like 'New York Minute' or 'Gilmore Girls'. But i feel his true potential shines in layered characters like Sam. Like sadly, Walker wasn't too complex. Casey had some level of depth but i dunno if we are going to see more of him. so ya..

literary analysis of SH
I've found that literary analysis paints a picture completely different from the stereotypes within the Sherlockian circle.
In literary scholarship, different analysts have independently and consistently used several semantically overlapping words to describe Holmes and Watson:
Holmes: rational, self-controlled, diligent
Watson: romantic, emotional, lazy
Watson → Holmes: never-ending adulation and hero worship (though he does gripe every now and then), with Watson even showing some homoerotic interest in Holmes.
Scholars also note that the Holmes-Watson dynamic mirrors a tutor/mentor-student or superior-subordinate relationship. Holmes keeps Watson in line, and Watson is a little bit afraid of Holmes.
Our adorable couple Watson and Mary Morstan, propping each other up like children whenever Holmes is in the room lol
I know it's pretty obvious 🥺
