Because when one has watched over 800 BLs one must be forgiven ones natural excess, here are the leads in Thai BLs where I loved both characters (and actors) in the main roles.

1 AePete in Love By Chance. The first pair I though of, OF COURSE. My babies forever. t

2 PeteKao from the Kiss series and Dark Blue Kiss. I dithered because I also adore TayNew's characters in Cherry Magic Thailand, but I simply had to go OG. I just ADORE PeteKao's dynamic and always will.

3 Speaking of OG. I mean come on. How could I not? I know they are kinda cliché not but nothing beats out DeanPharm in Until We Meet Again for pure unadulterated ultra-romantic soulmates. NOTHING.

4 Speaking of soulmates. I had to. The acting, the drama, the earnestness of them both. Everything was just spot on with I Feel You Linger in the Air. One of the only BLs I would pay good money to see a second season.

5 A marker of how much I love them that My School President knocked OG Love Sick and Make it Right out of contention. I mean Tee could pine for gold (you know I love a pining seme) but there was just something so trendy about G4 when they launched. They brought Thai high school BL into the modern age without losing the charm of the originals (while constantly referencing them).

6 Representing for the pulps, I had to pick My Ride. Look sunshine/sunshine is a rare dynamic, as is other-side-of-the-tracks, AND then they gave us strangers-to-friends-to-lovers growth that was so honest I can't even begin to describe what a delightful journey this BL was. Finally, they are just both so nice and decent and they try so hard. I LOVE THEM, OKAY? Must protect.

7 Speaking of sunshine/sunshine. YakDee just had so much fun with each other. And I love a friends with benefits to lovers dynamic. Talk about a modern BL, for me Wandee Goodday defines Thailand's current style.

8 Speaking of Thailand's modern style and earnest try-hard boys... I loved these two. I loved everything about them from characters to portrayal to dynamic, ThamePo gave me the idol drama I always wanted (but have yet to get) from Korea.

9 Just such an unexpected dynamic and one we never get from Thailand, which doesn't dabble as much as China and Taiwan in the gangster side of yaoi. Look, I don't like the source material pair, but make it gay in Thailand and suddenly Kiss Me Fadel is my jam. Slutty (affectionate) crop-top sporting conman meets stone-faced hitman? YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU Heart Killers.

10 We Are is a comfort watch for me and I just love these boys. The lonely puppy and the beloved artistic cat. It's a lovely dynamic in an easy gentle show that reminded me of my own university years and was quite nostalgic as a result.

Hmm I have been in a lot of fandoms.

My first bl show(which was portrayed as bromance because China is... You know) was The Untamed. I love them so much, especially Lan Zhan, he's my pretty princess, my wife🙂‍↕️❤️.

Then there was S.C.I Mystery, which again was portrayed as a bromance because China and its shit. The novels are absolutely lovely and zhan Zhao has many similarities to Bruce, not that much trauma but he's also a hissy little kitty and a babiegirl.

Some minor chinese fandoms were Killer and Healer and My Bodyguard and Falling Into Your Smile (straight drama)

Now we come to the ship that sucked the life out of me like a blood sucking vampire TharnType The Series, I was in this fandom for the longest time and they had such a chokehold on me. The fandom gave me the most amount of happiness but then shit happened and now I cannot think about it without feeling pain in my chest. Very over dramatic but I'm made of theatrics.

A Tale of Thousand Stars is also one of my favourite dramas.
