i would love to see Jared do more complex roles. don't get me wrong, i am looking forward to see him play Jack Stapleton because uggh the nostalgia of romcoms like 'New York Minute' or 'Gilmore Girls'. But i feel his true potential shines in layered characters like Sam. Like sadly, Walker wasn't too complex. Casey had some level of depth but i dunno if we are going to see more of him. so ya..

i just love how there is a clear separation between Jared Padalecki and the characters he plays. He puts so much effort into his characters, that they don't even remotely smile like Jared. Even their gestures are distinctly different. He also modifies the voice and tonality for each of the character that he plays
The only time I have caught glimpse of Jared in a character is when he plays Cordell Walker.
