“J56 was born May 24th and is now almost 3 months old. We saw her twice over two days next to her mother J31 near the Fraser River --- and on both occasions she was carrying a fish (or part of a fish) in her mouth like a rag doll. She will drink her mother’s milk for over a year, but is presumably learning young that she is a fish eater who is destined to love salmon!”
I am already head over heels for this baby! 😍Tsuchi really is a special whale and deserves it! Congrats to Jpod! Congrats mama! Please let this little one make it.
