In s1 we see that Tyler's dad is a bully and it's heavily implied though never confirmed that he's physically violent and abusive towards his family. We see the same tendencies in Tyler. He's violent, aggressive, a school yard bully and in the first or second episode he even tries force himself on Vicki.

Later we learn werewolves only unlock their curse when they kill someone by accident or on purpose.

Once we get into the Originals and their backstory it is again heavily implied all werewolves in ancient Mystic Falls are natives. It's never confirmed to my knowledge, but it seems logical given that it's a settlement in North America during the Viking Age. So does this mean everyone of them has killed someone? Which kind of implies a savagery to the natives that smacks of imperial colonism.

Then there's this implied thing where the Lockwoods are aggressive and violent because they're werewolves, which means the natives are likely the same. Which again plays into some really ugly stereotypes. And maybe they didn't have the backstory planned when they wrote s1, but they knew their canon so why the fuck did they write it that way unless they wanted to promote negative stereotypes about natives?

This is just more of the same way they gloss over the civil war plot, Emily's enslavement and Bonnie's general treatment.

So I guess what I'm saying is, what the fuck?!

Because it takes brain spoons: planning and list making and shopping, to organize food, just to refill the pantry and fridge. Then I gotta figure out what to eat and how often, take Spouse into consideration, maintain enough self awareness to notice my own hunger/low blood sugar signals.

(Because the diabetes meds I take kill off my actual rumbling tummy/hunger pangs, so often the first notice I get is all the way into HANGRY territory, or another kind of mood crash.)

I wish I had access to a cafeteria with good quality food, like that one 5-day dance workshop I did a couple years ago at Esalen. The food was delicious and varied, I didn't have to think or make or plan, just choose and eat. (Which was good because we were dancing between 3 & 5 hours each day.)

I even LIKE COOKING when I don't have to do it three times a day endlessly. I even LIKE VEGGIES and eating diabetic friendly, it's just hard to bear in mind while I have to do all the rest of the food related tasks (and all of the house and cat related tasks that have fallen to me in the last couple of years)

Either he's been smart this whole time and said "fuck it" after skipping grades.

But most seniors are 18. Or at least 17 turning 18. If Eddie was a 3rd go around Senior. He'd be in his 20's

today i had a moment!!! and he definitely knew something was up!!!

i was blending these two small mcflurries and he came over to make 2 cones, well the blender thing and the ice cream dispenser are literally right next to eachother.. so we’re like touching hips at this point

He smells SOOOO good. Like absolutely scrumptious. So i end up dropping a mcflurry mid blend and i’m like “whoops” and GET A LOAD OF WHAT THIS MAN SAYS
