It set off instantly between you two, and with meeting up for small coffee shop dates, going over to his studio to listen to new music being recorded, and then you eventually grew a crush on him, and discovered the feeling was mutual so started dating. It’s been pure bliss since.

Dating a celebrity like Joe however, has some downsides. Whilst you’re so grateful he’s as successful as he is, with his acting career and music, the fans can be a bit… much.

Some are sweet, they care so much for him and truly value his work, but some are a bit jealous that it’s not them dating him, but someone unknown.

Someone like you.

It’s rough on certain days. The internet has its opinions and their opinions are strong, and it can cause serious discomfort and anxiety knowing that people can be so cruel to someone they don’t even know.

But being with someone like Joe, who knows you so well is something you will forever be grateful for. When he finishes whatever he was doing that day, the first thing he does is call you. And he’s able to instantly tell in your voice if you’re okay or not just by the way you answer. He never presses to know what’s happened, and makes sure he has a bunch of your favorite flowers to at least cheer you up if you had a bad day.

He treats you like a normal person. But yet the way you feel when you’re with him is a feeling you hope everyone else feels when they’ve found the one. After all you’ve both been through, and even so with Joe’s career, the two of you have become a unit where one isn’t complete without the other. Even if people comment on your relationship, you know that you’re happy, Joe’s happy, and that’s all that really matters. The internet can say what they want, you get the man.

He’s forever by your side.

You reach the door of your shared apartment and already see the door ajar, so you just let yourself in. This is still your place, your home, even if it doesn't feel what home should feel like.

"I'm in the kitchen babe, come on over." Joe shouts. You set your belongings on the entryway table, and hesitantly walk on over to the kitchen. This is a conversation you cannot afford to mess up, so you take a deep breath and push past the looming dread and sickness gathering in your stomach.

"Hi Joe," you mumble, not looking into his eyes. He notices immediately and lowers his head.

"Hi y/n. I've missed you," he faltered. You barely hear the last part, but you lift your gaze towards him. He's shaking, you can tell by his hands. This is as nerve-wracking for him as it is you. Arguments like this have never gotten in the way of your relationship, and for the love of God you're hoping it doesn't destroy what you've built together.

"Do you mind if we talk about uh, everything? I just really need to explain the whole situation because I can't stand not speaking to you anymore Joe because it's killing me," you croak.

He nodded.

"I uh- jeez my hands are so sweaty right now," you mutter, whilst letting out a small laugh, and when you look up, you see the small smile at the corners of his mouth, and you almost lose yourself in him but take another breath and continue on with what you have to say to him.

"I went over to Dacre's house the other day, and talked to him about the whole post and what sort of happened between us as a result of it, and to try clear the air on what is actually going on. He told me he added that photo as sort of a hint of to what's going on between our characters in the new season, and admitted he did briefly like me during filming, and did not mean to hurt me or you and that he'll take the post down. He also mentioned he'd never get in the way of our relationship and that he's sorry for implying anything different. And I'm so sorry I reacted the way that I did the other week, it's just you know how I get with confrontation and situations like that because of my parents so I panicked and I did not mean to ignore you or anything I'm so sorry Joe."

He rakes his fingers through his hair and moves closer towards you from where he was standing behind the counter.

"Honey. You don't need to say sorry for how you reacted the other week. I should be the one apologising for the accusation because I know you'd never do something like that, it's not how you are as a person. And Dacre texted me the other day and explained it himself, I know nothing went on, and believe me when I say that it's okay now honey, please don't apologise for a reaction which was completely normal."

You feel him wipe away a few tears which have escaped from your eyes, and presses a gentle kiss to your lips. He tilts your head to look into his direction, and grabs your chin gently and guides it to his lips in a proper kiss. The two of you stand together like that for what seems to be forever, and when you come apart you both look into each others eyes again and burst out laughing.

"We are the stupidest people in the world oh my gosh," you giggle.

"Not stupid, just slightly dramatic. But that's okay, since we do dramatic for a job," he replies.

A few weeks go by and you both settle back into your normal lives. Which is essentially filming 24/7. It's good to have him back. Dacre and you still get on, and it's not awkward between the three of you at all. Joe and him act like brothers, and you smile when looking at them, knowing that's your future looking right back at you. Constant laughter on set, makes it seem more fun than you've ever had on a film set before.

Finally, after what seems to be forever, the series premiers, and you do the usual press and promoting side by side with the cast. You and Joe have never been better together, and with this new chapter ahead, the both of you have never been more excited to venture into a new era which you know will be full of possibilities you could've only dreamed of, and with Joe by your side? You've not got a thing to worry about ever again.

guys guys guys this is the end of this mini series!! tysm to anon who requested it because I had so much fun and I hope I achieved what you had in mind!! this ending is so cute and I thought it was a sweet way to end it, ugh i'm gonna sob they're so baby.

He rolls his eyes playfully and sighs, “But i can’t see you or that car when your away, please do it for my sake, i need to check it myself to know it’s fine. Those other guys aren’t as skilled as me y’know babe, and your parents would kill me if you brake down and they find out i didn’t check for you.

“You really want to do that for me?”

“Of course i do, it’ll settle my mind and i can sleep well knowing you’ll be fine driving down and back.”

“Fine,” kissing him on the nose. “We can take it in tomorrow morning, you can do your checks, and then i can go. Sounds good?”

Returning the gesture, he grins, “Perfect.”

Ultimately you knew you had to speak to Dacre. He’s as responsible for this as well, so it’s best if you talk with him to actually understand what was his reasoning. Even if he does have a crush on you, the way it’s been handled from his side is unhealthy. He might not of understood the full extent, but surely you’d know if two people are in a relationship. You and him are only dating in the show, so you’re hoping it’s just him promoting that.

But what if he’s jealous of your relationship?

Could that be why?

You message Dacre telling him if it’s okay to come over to talk. He agrees and asks what’s up, but you mentioned that you didn’t want to speak about it over text. It’s better done over person.

Walking up the stairs to his doorstep, your mind fills with a million thoughts. Could it just be jealousy? Does he really have a crush on you? What if this has ruined your relationship with Joe for good? No.

“Hey Y/N, come on in,” Dacre exclaims.

“Thanks for letting me come over, i really needed to talk to you,” you mutter. Things like this always made you nervous, and the whole acting thing between the two of you, the result of this conversation could be seriously impacted.

He grins,“Yeah no worries, what’s up?”

Taking a deep breath, you begin. You tell him about the argument between you and Joe, how Joe feels that somethings off between you two because of the post, and how rumours are being spread online about you, when it feels like that post sparked it all, and other small details you feel obliged to share with Dacre.

At the end of the explanation, Dacre nods, and walks around in small circles before he begins talking.

“Right. From where i see it, i do admit the whole being together on set did make me develop a small thing for you. And i didn’t mean to make it into something big. I only posted that photo to almost tease what’s in the season, not to try propose something is going on between us two. I get the way Joe reacted, if someone was after my girl then yeah maybe i would get over my head, but i promise you y/n, i didn’t mean to cause this. I’ll take the post down, and i’ll text Joe. Again i’m really sorry, and also probably need to say that to Joe. I didn’t mean to- well, sorry for having a small thing for his girl, y’know? ‘

A slight smile brushes over your face, “Thanks Dacre. And uh, maybe refrain from posting stuff like that next time. I don’t want something like this to happen again, and now i’ve really got to get back to Joe. I need to tell him i love him and he’s the only one for me.’

Grabbing your purse off the counter from where you left it, Dacre walks you out the door, and you off. It might be a little awkward between you two on set now, but at least nothing is going on with you and Joe. You just now need to make sure you’re right.

You text Joe asking if he’s free, and he agrees and decides to meet you back at the apartment you share together. You’ve stayed away from it as far as possible, which meant staying with your parents. And it’s driving you insane, so you walk up the stairs with your head held high and belief that you can fix this.

You will right?

But before you get to the apartment, your phone buzzes. Joe posted.
