I'm sorry you're upset though 😭 R really went through the ringer in that one. What Nat did was reprehensible, but Kate was also to blame for taking advantage of R when she was depressed and lonely. 🥺(Fortunately I think R and Kate's relationship is entirely superficial and won't last very long.) But even then I think Nat was toxic even before Kate came along, it was just played off as a joke until that night. :(
For now, that is the end of that AU! (I did want to write a version where R ends up with Yelena lol but I thought it would be too much so I never did). I hope my other fics can make up for this one though :)
