Those of you who follow me, may have noticed my little note that, since recently, I’m taking Japanese classes. I couldn’t resist this little funny meme after a Japanese lesson about visiting etiquette and phrases. XD This Japanese phrase (ittekimasu いってきます) sort of means: I am leaving, but I’ll will be back. [ itte = I’m going || kimasu = I will come ] You use this when you visit someone and you leave, but you will visit this person again. Or also when you’re for example in a restaurant and leave the table for a moment and will return.
After learning this word, I just can’t help saying it with a bad Terminator imitation. Simply, because in short and in easiest English translation it means ‘I’ll be back’ And it’s a great mnemonic in helping me reminding the word and meaning XD
