Sabar mengajarkan kita menahan diri tanpa banyak mengeluh, menerima takdir Allah dengan hati yang lapang. Sedangkan qana‘ah menenangkan hati—merasa cukup atas apa yang Allah beri, sambil terus bersyukur dan berikhtiar.
Ketika keduanya hadir, hati jadi lebih tenang, dan hidup terasa lebih ringan.
Allah menghadirkan setiap manusia dengan cobaan dan ujian yang berbeda-beda.
Ketika kita melihat kekurangan orang lain, sepantasnya kita bersyukur. Dan ketika kita melihat kelebihan serta nikmat yang Allah titipkan pada orang lain, sebaiknya kita turut berbahagia dan mendoakan.
Karena setiap nikmat dan ujian memiliki porsinya masing-masing, dan Allah Maha Adil dalam membagi semuanya.
"Allahumma yassir wala tu'assir. Rabbi tammim bi'khair."
Ya Allah, make it easy and do not make it difficult. Ya Allah make it end well.
