Good morning loves☀️I’m at the terminal waiting to board my plane for Boston! Aside from that, today is WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY. I will be posting more on this later, but getting out of town is something I’m doing for self care. It has taken me over 20 years to make this trip to stay with one of my best friends on the planet. It took so long because I was not maintaining my mental wellness. I was not prioritizing my own well being. Remember that play is a vital part of mental health. We cannot just have drudgery all the time. Humans were not designed that way. Stress is a killer, whether the physical illness it causes, or the mental health issues, including suicide, ultimately. Every 40 seconds someone in the world takes their own life. It never needs to happen. I’ve been in that darkness. I have also lost wonderful human beings and close friends. Think about what little changes you can make to change your life or someone else’s.
