I did not! Due to a combination of reasons that include not caring enough about the show to watch BTS footage and the fact that over the past few years I’ve made a really concerted attempt not to watch or read BTS material, interviews, creator commentaries, etc. for Star Wars because I hit the point where it was increasingly ruining my experience of actually watching/reading Star Wars. But I know they used a bunch of relatively new technology for the sets on Mando, which is very cool. I do just wish some of their locations felt less real world? I’m still hoping for a location that feels more like Felucia or Kashyyyk or Dathomir, and some brighter colors in general.

While Loki stalked inside his cage on the SHIELD vessel, watched by cameras from all angles, and to all outward appearances sulking and plotting and planning, an unseen presence watched him as well, from the shadows, and mourned.
“You poor bastard,” Loki muttered from his hiding place. He recalled every step his younger self was taking, felt the ghost of agony shuddering through his aching bones each time his foot connected with the deck plating, and knew what was coming.
He was sick with the knowing, nauseous and feverish and impotent.
The Time Stone was heavy around his neck. He hadn’t thought, when he’d stolen it from Strange for his own ends, that he would be so damned eager to give it back to its proper keeper.
He wanted to save himself from what was coming. And from what had come before.
It gnawed at him, that he couldn’t. There was nothing left to save. All that was before him was an angry memory. A ghost.
The mask of his caged self slipped for a split second, and he saw the brief, brutal glimpse of a gray face, drawn with anguish and exhaustion. How long had it been since the resurrected, dissected, dismembered, reassembled pawn of a prince had been allowed to sleep?
He barely remembered the torture now, except for the nightmares, and then all that was left when he woke was the screaming, and the lingering pain from the broken back and the twisted guts and the organs that had been removed and shown to him and eventually put back in the wrong places.
Even now, Loki wasn’t sure he hadn’t deserved it.
“I wish I knew how to forgive you,” he said forlornly. “I wish I knew how to forgive myself for being you. I’m not so sentimental as my brother – you and I are still the same person as ever we were. The sole difference is that you believe yourself to be utterly abandoned. I only fear that I am so.”

Thank you for your kind words! I honestly have been feeling a little fandom fatigue (not just star wars, but in general) but I will definitely be trying to engage with any new Clone Wars content we’ll be getting along the way.
I have a feeling that even when the final season ends, there is still going to be plenty of stories to tell in that time period.
Considering that Filoni and the others got cut short in the amount of episodes allotted for their final season and that they had to cut out a lot of content they originally planned on showing, we’ll probably be getting them in other mediums.
