i do gotta write some whump again tbh, been writing very somft things for the last week and have a reputation to live up to 😂

the only monthly event i plan to do yearly is @febuwhump though i did fail spectacularly this year for the first time in 4yrs and am having a Big Sad about it - THAT SAID, i'll totally check out the @whumpril prompt list and see how she's lookin'

please please PLEASE put the boys through the ringer, we need more whump out there for them (when i say this, know that i mostly mean Torres haha)

Next up on the Patreon early release (both tiers, not just Little Ghosties) will be Demon's story (male demon with submissive/switch tendencies x male human witch - 3rd person, nsfw), and after that will be Oats the kelpie (single father with dad-bod x plus size fem reader, 2nd person, nsfw), since they came out top in the poll over on Patreon. Plus, you really seemed to love the long preview I shared on Patreon of him! Third place was Laces for a Lady :).

I'm doing a complete rewrite for November's story. I got to nearly 4k words and wasn't happy with how it was going at all. (It's still poly, same characters, but just being completely rewritten from scratch…). I had hoped to post it for you this weekend, but I'll see how it goes with the rewrite. Shouldn't be too long though, as it's already flowing much better.

That is the reason I don't set a specific date per month for the exclusive story to go up - it leaves me a bit more room to make sure it's my best quality writing for you. It will be up in November though, fear not, and we're also not even halfway through the month!

Anyway, thanks to those who were kind and reassuring over on Discord! Part of the reason I burned out so thoroughly first time round was because I kept panicking that I wasn't producing "enough content" for Patreons to make you want to stay for your $5 a month, and I just completely burned out. I have to tell myself that a fiver a month, or the cost of one fancy coffee a month, for an exclusive story and a fair bit of say in what's going on is reasonable. I don't feel the same fear this time round to keep adding extra work to make people stay - either they can and want to, or they can't and don't, and that's also ok!!
