ENDLESS_BUMMER_ROBERTS:

A back half cooler on MORRISSEY's finest solo album, "THE LAZY SUNBATHERS" is the obvious go-to summer Moz track & the latest entry into the Endless_Bummer_Roberts Seasonal Song Series.

Written by Moz & Sir Alain Whyte, the penultimate track on 1994's dashing 'Vauxhall & I,' brims with that whimsical Moz charm while being covered in melancholic jangle (keep in mind the sweepingly epic "Speedway" follows).

Built on acoustic strums, pitter-pat percussion, & choice electric guitar lines, "The Lazy Sunbathers" screams SUMMER both musically & lyrically as the man coos of those who could care less about such matters of world wars.

There may be "nothing between the ears of the lazy sunbathers" who'd rather remain jaded than to question stagnation, but holy shit being a sun obsessed dullard has never sounded so glamorous.
