@the-ideal-and-the-real
What we want and what reality is often two different things.
We can delude ourself into a wonderful dream....but like all dreams we evetnually have to wake up.
“I’m sorry Yelena there nothing else i can do....”
Holding one of his closet friends in his arms. Holmes sometimes he can’t just cry like a normal person. That he can’t find the right words for to ease a friend who about to die. He the world greatest detective yet at a time like this. There nothing he CAN do but watch.as one of the people he let his heart open to die in his arms. What if John dies like this one day also? Can he muster up a tear or is he really a emotionless machine of logic as some called him?
She died with a smile on her face on that night in the freezing Himlaya mountains. His good friend Helena Blavatsky just died in his arm yet he couldn’t muster a tear out to cry for someone who meant something to him. Someone close to him almost as John was.
“Oh gosh darn. Was i bothering you? I just arrive in this island and the park was so nice i accidently slept on the park bench. Forgive me my good sir.”
Holmes recompose himself. He still a little shaken reliving that memory. But Holmes bettter then anyone at one thing is maintaing his cool.
After all......those memories of the living. He and Helena long since been dead and enter the throne of hero already.
