What is your most angsty ZaDr headcanon ever? (If you are into angst, of course) I like tears and pain. Gimme... please.
Uhhh ok, I can’t pick a ‘most angsty one’ really but I have a few good ones here for you:
-Dib dies in some way but Zim manages to save a copy of his brain inside some computer chip type deal and can run it as a program wherever he wants, so he spends long days and nights just conversing with the program but never manages to actually rebuild a decent body that he can install the chip in so he’s left forever longing for Dib’s touch, despite still having him as a presence.
-Dib and Zim become aware of their feelings for one another and confess during a fight, but they’re both entirely set on their missions (Zim to take over Earth, Dib to defend it) and see their feelings as obstacles in their way. So they lash out at each other for playing those “dirty tricks” on one another and their fights become more and more violent while their feelings just kill them slowly from the inside.
-Another version of the second one, but instead of eternally escalating nasty fights they both agree to drink some sorta tonic that will undo their feelings and allow them to become just enemies again. Only problem is, they keep falling in love for one another again and again so they have to constantly consume the tonic just so they can stay enemies forever.

@ismyneli Absolutely! He’ll ban the kids from bringing weapons to the dinner table but fucking Shadow will casually drop a bazooka. He panics anytime he sees the kids running after each other giggling WHILE HOLDING A KNIFE/MACHETE. Each weapon Knuckles takes away, Shadow provides an even more dangerous one. Perhaps the most scared Knux ever was when his kids were PLAYING CATCH WITH A GRENADE GDI SHADOW JUST GIVE THEM NORMAL KIDS TOYS
