we’re probably not going to get this because this is not that kind of show. but i would be fascinated to see how an ISB defection affects the rest of the ISB.
Kallus might not have been the biggest ISB agent but he was still an ISB agent. there’s no way him operating as a rebel spy and escaping doesnt have a greater impact on the security and scrutiny of the agency.
Do they have to start going through bag checks every day. Do they get interviewed and interrogated?
could Kallus’ defection lead to Lonni getting caught. that could genuinely tie it together in an interesting way. the rebellion of one operative resulting in another rebels death.
(if you dont know the timeline, kallus defects not long after mon mothma is forced to flee coruscant. it would be between nine and ten.)

As a writer, the only body of work that I've come back to after an extended length of time and still enjoyed, was my crack Star Wars fic. I was cackling, rereading how fixated this Order 66 survivor dodging Inquisitors in his own bar was on his premium countertops. The ISB agent is getting sloppy drunk because she knows Mara Jade's sorority sister (Emperor's Hand) is going to kill her. The Jedi notes how stupid her pants look and hands her the bottle of tequila. The Jedi manages to slip away because the agent, the Hand, and the Inquisitor can't decide who has jurisdiction. Comedy gold.
