4 months... oops! Here's an update.
So I haven't blogged in 4 months, sorry about that. There are now 244 days until the wedding, so plenty of time to catch up on this.
Over the last few months we've made small steps forward, our to-do list is slowly getting ticked. The four biggies: Venue, Celebrant, Caterer and Photographer are all done. Sarah has bought her dress; I know nothing but the price, and I'm excited to see it on her in about 8 months. I don't have a suit, but I have a few ideas. We think we know what we're doing for decorations. We have a lead on some flowers. DJ/Entertainment/Music is an ongoing debate. Dessert is going to be a family made awesome-fest.
The current thorn in our sides is guest numbers. Why do we like so many people? Why do so many people insist on being our friends? Why are our families so good at expanding and procreating? Do they not know how hard this is making it for us!? Do we invite work people? Do we invite old friends over new? Are arbitrary partner rules really that fair? What if we like one partner that's been around for 2 months and barely know one that's been around for 4 years? Is it ok to have a B-list that get invited when we get a few negative RSVP's? Will they know? Will they forever judge us!?
The anxiety over this ridiculousness is... well... ridiculous. I can't wait until I post the final invite and just settle on who we've invited.
My spreadsheet has gone through somewhere between 30-44 revisions. All the costs have been calculated, all the invites tallied, all the extras marked off, and a giant B-list well and truly created.
Wish us luck.
The next blog will be happier and less anxiety ridden.

Anybody who lives out-of-town who can't come, is getting an invitation with the link to the webcam we'll have going. If they don't like it, they can bring food and chairs when they show up, or else they're not getting fed/a place to sit. >.>
Baby Shower List is Complete!
....well for the most part anyways. I may add a couple people later on once they know what their schedules look like for this month but it's pretty much done. My mom is in charge of choosing family members to come and my sister-in-law is working on the invites themselves. I'm guessing they'll be done before the end of the week. I can't wait for my baby shower! I've only ever been to a couple but there's always great little finger foods and fun games. Don't even get me started on the gifts! I need to figure out what i'm going to wear for this shindig. It'll probably just be one of my summer dresses but maybe i'll treat myself and get a cute maternity outfit. Only 25 more days till the shower!!!
