Using the couch for #GettingBackIntoIt. The #SuryaNamaskar or #SunSalutation has #TwelveMovements and often are performed in nine rounds of the 12 postures (totaling 108, a number sacred in Yoga). There are Twelve months of the year, and Twelve is the #Tarot number for #TheHangedMan or #InvertedMan, or 'he who transcends/inverts the norm and can experience the universe #360Degrees. Twelve represents the completed cycle of experience and when an individual reincarnates as the number 12 they have completed a full cycle of experience and learned of the possibility of regeneration toward a higher-consciousness. They belong to a group of developed souls who have accumulated an unusual inner-strength through many and varied lifetimes. They may still, however, be hindered by old habits that need to be changed. The soul then attracts what it needs as a learning experience. A reversal of negative thoughts can bring about very favourable and positive effects and can aid in achieving their goals and aspirations. I'd gone down a very narrow and closed in path, as can be seen in my body currently. I looked down what that path held in store for me, and have declined. Yoga means connection, and I am now reconnecting with my original path. I am starting out with at least one Sun Salutation every morning, holding each position for (as a guildeline/minimum) 12 breaths, and taking 6 breaths to transition. Once this is complete, I'm warmed up and the exploration begins - rebuilding my back and core strength is first on the ticket, followed by legs and arms. As long as I go slow and engage my core, all movements are measured and safe. This is also very beneficial for personality/emotional/mental reasons, of course. Would welcome comments on my form. I moved fast near the end due to currently lacking enough core strength, but that will improve in time :)
