I'm a little surprised because I remember shuffling when I first got the cards asking if there was a message that needed to come through for someone and the Fairy if the Highlands had come through then.

I believe there's some thing you're scared of. More like worried about school perhaps? Starting at a new place, fitting in, measuring up to the mark? The plaid of her cloak has me thinking about a uniform. And I don't really mean it in the school mandated uniform fashion. A uniform is any guise we wear to fit in or to be better accepted. I think it's natural to feel apprehensive and a bit nervous but this gentle fairy wants to hold your chin up, softly urging you on as she reminds you of your power. There's this quote that goes friends are angels who show you how to fly when you've forgotten you've got wings. It's okay to be scared. Worried. Do it scared. I have faith in your abilities, she seems to say.

Are you going somewhere not many from your family or those you know have been?

The number 20 could be significant. This could be a date a birthday or some such. 20 on the clock could also indicate time. Numerologically the number 2 stands for a motherly energy. This is to say you are cared for and that this fairy is looking after you. Take care of yourself. You are supported and loved.

A little about the fairy of the Highlands,even though gentle, kind and loving she does not take kindly to remaining quiet to avoid conflict. Take a stand for yourself. Sometimes you have to ruffle a few feathers for people to tealise that they cant keep doing you dirty just because you're a good, honest person.its time. To quote directly from the book,

The time for truce is over. It's time to speak your truth and be strong. People have been taking over your ground wanting what you have worked hard for, without doing the work themselves. They have done so by taking advantage of your peaceful nature. But enough is enough.

This is giving me major Arjun from the Mahabharata vibes where sri Krishna reminds him that he may have to fight family for his people. He is just doing his job as a Prince.

I will be fearless and strong and do what needs to be done. I may bathe my sword in tears, but I will no longer hold it back when the threat that approaches relies on my fear for its victory. I will no longer give away my power so easily. This time I will take back what's mine.

It’s time to talk about the GUT. Yes, that part of our bodies that society wants us to hate. But did you know that the gut = the seat of intuition?

There so much pressure to minimize the gut. But, if we’re cut off from our gut/intuition, whom does that benefit? Of course, you know the answer. It’s the people trying to get us to buy things to fix the problem they caused.

But what if you loved your gut? What if you listened to your intuition instead? It’s a radical act to be yourself these days, but let’s go for it.

I love my gut because it tells me how I really feel. I listen to it when I need to make a decision so I can be in alignment with my life purpose and what’s best for me.

There are some mean gatekeepers out there who don’t define witchcraft as anything outside of a tradition. There’s also imposter syndrome and self-doubt. Both of these can assassinate confidence in your own practice.

I call BS. Don’t let these things get in the way of your practice. Keep on with the good work.

IP004 - 09/08/2017

Second day of Intuitive Painting! The meditative state it puts me in is enough in and of itself to make me want to continue but the real reason is creativity activation and painting today I am realizing that I have a lot of work to do! The reason I say this is because I can feel that as soon as I put colour on the paper, my logical brain wants to see something specific in it and I not-so-unconsciously start completing the shapes to fit that logical image whereas perhaps developing my creativity is more about accepting complete abstraction and completely letting go rather than logically finishing pictures?
