DR: You and Macklin going up against Matvei Michkov—does it matter to you?

WS: (shakes his head) No, I mean, uh, we're trying to get a win here; that's about it.

DR: How have you and Macklin been able to develop that chemistry? You guys played against each other in college but you're obviously best friends. How does that transfer from off the ice to on the ice?

WS: Um, like you said right there, it starts off the ice, uh, obviously we're together pretty much 24/7, and, um, great friends off the ice, and then on the ice it's, uh, it just kinda happens, I guess.

DR: Your game has really taken a jump; what are you most happy with where your game's gone to?

WS: Making plays, getting my feet moving, and, uh, more stuff opens up, so, um, like I said, when I get my feet moving, plays open up and, uh, start going in.
