hello! today i am reading about astral projection from some other sources (wikipedia lol), and i have some interesting findings!
The astral plane, also called the astral world, is where consciousness goes after physical death.
this seems congruent with some of my experiences. i have met real life dead people in the plane, and they talked about their death. i wonder if it means that the way to take permanent residence in the plane like i want to is simply to...die? i dont want to kill myself, so i guess ill have to wait until it just happens lol.
It is the world of the planetary spheres, crossed by the soul in its astral body on the way to being born and after death, and generally said to be populated by angels, spirits, or other immaterial beings
so, this is important for many reasons. first of all, this passage mentions planetary spheres which seems to be true in that galilei is a celestial sphere, and the existence of galilei necessitates the existence of uranus. also, presumably, earth–or another planet on which the majority of the events happen. other important parts of the passage: the mention of angels (galileans?) and spirits, (congruent with uhh *cough cough* others of interest.... *cough* calling the place the spirit world
According to occult teachings the astral plane can be visited consciously through astral projection, meditation, and mantra, near-death experience, lucid dreaming, or other means. Individuals that are trained in the use of the astral vehicle can separate their consciousness in the astral vehicle from the physical body at will.
now this passage would suggest that lucid dreaming is a valid way of accessing the plane... i was and still am skeptical of it but i think it is worth a shot. i will attempt to get better at it. this article linked several sources which i am going to study soon.
