Hello! I'm Keylee behind the scenes here. I wanted to try an interactive blog with some storytelling and art. The goal is to reach "the end" of a story I start to tell here. There is an overall arching story to this, but there will also be several short stories you can find the pieces of. How to interact/how to play:

1)Submit a word, and a writing genre. If you have happened to find a word for the next part of the story/of a short story/or a drawing, Sir Valentine will respond with the next bit of story. 2)The story can get posted out of order, but I will add numbers to the title to help you understand which piece you have unlocked. MOST stories will be 1-3 parts. 3)Stories without numbers, are part of the overall arching story, as told by Sir Valentine, and will only be posted in order. I will do my best to make this as easy as possible. 4)art that gets posted may be clues to another story.

5) When sending an ask you can only send 1 word but you may send up to 2 genres. Please submit as many asks as you like :)

Why is this being made:

There are two reasons this blog exists. One, I thought this could be a fun interactive art piece to play around with. It just seems like something fun to do during these hard times. A distraction from everyday life, small problems, and big problems. Second, I have written a book. I am trying to get it published and I am unsure which route to take: Publishing, or self publishing. I thought if a lot of people enjoyed this, maybe later I could ask for help with a go fund me for self publishing, or even link like a tip jar to help me save up.

Regardless or whether not this gets a lot of attention, overall I'm hoping this becomes something fun, and unique for those invested. Thanks for reading!

A journey back to the heart of Horizon world, both literal and emotional.

[CONTEXT: Post-HFW] A new threat looms over Meridian. Aloy heads back to Carja territory, determined to avert disaster.

“She made out below her the flaming silhouette of characteristic rocky mountains, bathed in the sun’s last rays. The glow of the sunset reflected off the water in a million sparkling stars she saw dancing before her eyes, like so many shards of fire and metal.”

This 'gamified fic' is an experimental concept, designed as an immersive interactive reading in sync with the Horizon games' OST—kind of like a 'reversed-soundtrack'.

Instead of writing music to illustrate a story, as is usually done, I thought it would be fun to try it the other way around. Because, why not? ^^

The layout will [guide you to] follow the flow, with the text becoming a mere subtitle to the music... which is ultimately the true hero of the story here.

And I’m just going to announce it now, the pirate au won the poll! I have had a few ideas for where to start but first I’m going to give you a summary of the few plot ideas I’ve had that you guys get to chose. Whatever one has the most votes after a couple of days will be what I write. (Side not if you can please reblog and interact so that this does float around, this won’t work to well if I don’t have people interacting lmao)

Vampire Pirate Au - Eddie has been running the ship for years, accidentally steering himself and his Uncles crew in the Bermuda Triangle tragedy hits as most of their crew is taken out (whether Wayne lives or dies is up to readers) Mysteriously Eddie finds himself locked away in a small area of the ship, where no one is allowed. He’s still captain, but none of the crew has seen him in years. Due to feeding habits he likes not having more then a few crew members on ship, most quitting within days or mysteriously disappearing with the acceptation of a few who were there the fateful day they lost most of their family. What they don’t expect, is to receive two dorks, dingus and butthead who are on the run from the law.

Undercover Prince au: trying to find his best friend Robin, Steve finds himself running away from all of his responsibilities. Not a fuck given about what the king, his father; thinks. Dropping the princely act, he finds himself meeting another prince who has decided to be done with all royalty. Eddie Munson was nothing like Steve had expected, but they do find themselves tagging along and connecting with each other in search for something. Landing on a ship, sailing across the see being lead by a constantly drunk/ high captain Argyle. Steve is quick to discover that he’s not the only one keeping secrets. Hiding the fact he’s a prince from Eddie was one thing, but discovering that the man you’ve been with wasn’t really a man but in fact a fae… yeah that’ll do wonders.

Polly want a cracker au; when Eddie, captain of the sabbath receives a parrot as a gift he doesn’t realize that said parrot was in fact a man cursed to be a bird forever. He goes numerous years in bliss, until they pass through the Bermuda Triangle and said parrot shifts into a man. A pretty man, with many moles. But it doesn’t last long as he shifts back when they were out of the triangle, and now Eddie has a mission. Find whoever cursed this Steve Harrington and force them to shift him back. (There’s probably more but I’m falling asleep typing lol)

Betrayal; (inspired by nimona) When the Queen is brutally slain, a rift Is created. Between one Eddie Munson and one Steve Harrington. Childhood best friends who were on the peak of more up until Steve was accused of treason. As Eddie chases who was once was his first love; he finds that he can’t go through. Allowing years to go by instead of searching. As a lead is found, Eddie is forced to go investigate. Only to find a hollow out shell of a thief that he once knew. Steve has decided to fully commit to the whole villain arc while dragging along one Max Mayfield. A girl who can shift into whatever thing she wants, older then Steve and Eddie combined. Leaving a trail of flames behind them, they lead the most legendary pirate ship out there. While Eddie learns that the forced conformity he’s been bitching about? He’s been apart of it his entire life.

Está bien ser ambicioso para lograr tus objetivos, pero está mal que en el proceso entres en conflicto con todo el mundo. Algunos de ustedes se han tenido una actitud de “Yo vs El mundo” y eso les ha alejado de muchas personas. Probablemente lo hayan hecho para defender sus objetivos, lo que no está mal, pero no vale la pena que estés en conflicto con todos; el mundo no está en contra tuyo ni todo el mundo debería ser tu enemigo. Debes ser más flexible y relajarte; puede que te sientas satisfecho por tus victorias y sientas que este alejamiento de otros lo vale, dándote una falsa sensación de bienestar. It’s okay to be ambitious for achieve your goals, but it’s not when in the process you enter in conflict with everyone around you. Some of you have been taking this attitude of “Me vs The World” and this this have took you away from many people. You probably did it to defend your objectives, which is not bad, but it isn't worth it if you are in conflict with everyone; the world is not against you and not everyone has to be an enemy. You must be more flexible and relax; you may feel satisfied by your victories and feel that this estrangement from others is worth it, giving you a false sense of well-being. But deep down, you know that this is not the right thing to do and that happiness is actually ephemeral. I have the feeling that many of you have suffered betrayal in the past and have also focused on putting aside responsibilities or close people (Friends, family) to get revenge on this person who hurt you or to focus on worldly pleasures. It is not bad to experience these types of pleasures, the problem is that you do it to avoid facing the real problem and treating it: you. Breathe, leave your ego behind and start again: You will see that your inner wisdom and a friendly environment will bring you much more satisfaction than a victory at the expense of others.
