So I'm a big fan of cleradin/fantasy byler and so can I have the Steddie DnD version please and thank-
Edward is a bard of course, a musical inspiration and a storyteller. He wasn't the bravest but he was wily and he had his charms. He got by just fine, adventuring with many strange companions but really, he was a solitary creature. He traveled the lands, plucking strings on his lute all the way and telling all the village children wild stories that sparked that glow in their eyes that he loved.
One day he'd traveled to the Kingdom of Hawkinsgton- [work in progress!] and while he was playing in a markets square, he heard the people were in a tizzy, the young prince, apparently, the only prince, was missing. How troubling, but of course that was none of the bards business.
Night falls and the bard finds himself looking for a place to stay, his lute strung over his back as he walked the dimly lit streets. He spots a tavern down the road, but just as he approaches the door, a figure stumbles out, right into him. "Woah there-" Edward stutters lifting his hands, however; the cloaked person practically melts into the bards shoulder, snorting and giggling. The bard is quite taken aback, looking down at the hooded silhouette.
When the person finally looks up at him, the bard is greeted by none other than the face that was on the missing posters all around the Kingdom. Prince Steven; he was absolutely flushed, he had that distant look in his eye and it hit Edward: This prince was drunk. "S-Sorry." The effortlessly handsome prince would hiccup, standing up straighter, but he was wobblily, so much so that the bard ended up grabbing his waist on pure instinct. "You're- You're quite alright." He ended up assuring, even though if any other patron had tumbled into him, he was certain he wouldn't have been half as gentle.
"I-I need to- hic -get back to- to-" The prince squirmed away, only making it a few steps before he almost tripped, "Careful, Steven!" Edward blurted despite himself, following the prince and grabbing his arm to hold him steady. "Shh! Shh-shh-" The prince shushed the bard, pressing his hand over the wild haired man's mouth. "D-Don't call me that, someone will hearr- you." He slurred, intense hazel eyes meeting the bards dark ones. Edward was so baffled by the fact that the prince would touch his mouth in such a manner that he stayed quiet as Steven continued to explain.
"I-I'm hidin', don'tcha get that? Ma- my parents are assholessss, I don't want to marry Carol!" The prince drunkenly declared, letting go of the bard, only to totter off and nearly collapse against the window of a thankfully closed bakery. The bard just blinked at the sight, just... Completely entranced. Partially because of the prince's beauty, but also because of the situation that had quite literally stumbled into his grasp.
"And call me Steve anyway- Steven sounds like an uptight bastard." The prince complained as he melted down the wall, the bard huffed slightly and couched down next to the brunette. "And you're no uptight bastard, are you, Steve?" Edward would tease, a sharp grin on his face. "No!" The prince would claim, like a pouty toddler. "'Course not." The bard entertained, tilting his head at the sight of a prince pouting so adorably. The sharp line of Steve's jaw was sharper than some of blades that had been pushed to Edward's throat, his eyes softer than plushest of pillows, the moles that scattered his skin were like stars, his hair was messy and thick as a forest-
"Eddie, if you have a crush on my best friend you could just say that."
That comment broke Eddie out of his writing frenzy as his gaze snapped up to Dustin who was standing behind him, a disgusting expression on the kids face. "Oh fuck off!" Eddie blared, face turning red as he threw the personal one-shot he'd been writing right at the kid, who squawked in response, ducking. "What?! I'm sure Steve would love to know that you think his moles look like stars-" Dustin snarked, grinning from behind the chair.
"I will mutilate you if you utter a word to him." Eddie threatened, death glaring his younger friend. Dustin narrowed his eyes before seemingly considering better. "Yeah, maybe that's not quite worth it."
"What's not worth it?" Steve questioned, he was at hellfire to pick up Dustin specifically. Dustin opened his mouth and Eddie smacked his hand over it. "Nothing, Henderson died to a level two goblin today." Eddie blurted, trying not to blush. Dustin pushed Eddie's hands away. "Those circumstances were unfair! The hoard of thieves stole all my gear before that-" The boy would argue, Steve would just roll his eyes.
"Yeah, right." He sensed that there was something else, but... Oh well.
