For the past thirty years, Judith Barry has engaged installation art, video, sculpture, and performance in her practice—all of which are represented in this work from 1991. A mirror base supports a cube that shows a face filmed from five angles. As a yellow substance pours down their head, we hear the figure slowly breathing. The exhibition, curated by Piper Marshall, is on view at Mary Boone Gallery through July 28. __________________ Judith Barry Imagination, dead imagine, 1991/2017, five-channel video installation with sound, mirror, and wood 120 x 96 x 96 in. ______________ #MaryBooneGallery #JudithBarry #PiperMarshall @maryboonegallery @martianpiper #regram @aianews #scupture #imagination #instaltion #videoart #performanceart
