As she usually does every year, Mrs. Brown, the Headmistress, summons all the students in assembly before leaving school for our Christmas holidays.
When we are all sitting in the auditorium she lectures us about the importance of this next Holidays, about the evolution of the school and ends wishing all us a Merry Christmas.
But just before dismissing the assembly she adds:
Now before all we leaving, I am going to read the name of a few boys, whose rudeness and bad behavior has especially stood out during this past term.
Those who are called, please proceed to my office before leaving the school.
My cane also wants to warmly farewell you and to be sure that you will keep a festive and coloured estriped bottom, during these next days of Holidays you are going to be away from it.
No prizes for guessing who is at the top of the list!
