Charlotte's expression as Mat talks about the finale having to end the way it did is me 100%.

“🎶 She used to be alive but she’s not anymore, but we can still see her and we still hear her snore. It’s Ghost-Nan!!! GHOST-NAN!!!! *SNORTS*!🎶”

Worms (a poem by Mat Baynton) | INSIDE GHOSTS
LARRY: There must be so many times in Robin's afterlife where there aren't ghosts, and sort of for his own sanity, he has to sort of have these one-sided friendships. And we just liked the idea of having—Sophie has no idea that Robin exists.
NATHAN: Yeah, it's a little bit sad, isn't it?
LARRY: It is.
CHLOÉ: It's devastating!
NATHAN: 'Cause you see him, and you're like, "Oh, that would suck!"
LARRY: But he knows her better than anyone else in the [laughing] world, which just felt like a really interesting friendship. Just sort of completely one-sided.
NATHAN: So do you reckon, if they were both ghosts, they'd be in love?
LARRY: No, I don't think so.
NATHAN: Oh.
LARRY: I just don't think that's what it is for him. I think he likes the fact that she's got a bit of a hard edge, 'cause he has, which I think he quite likes about it, but I think they're just, like, an unlikely buddy partnership, and I think they get on.
CHLOÉ: Yeah, both a bit misunderstood. You know, just a bit sort of closed off and not—yeah.
NATHAN: And what do you think Robin would say to Sophie about Humphrey? If they could talk, what would he say?
LARRY: [in Robin voice] Look, obviously that guy is not the sharpest tool in the box. No, but, uh, you know, he tries hard. I think he likes you. Er, I'm not saying, you know, give him a go. But maybe don't be so horrible all the time, eh?
NATHAN: That's very good, you must get a round of applause. Very good. [applause] Very, very, very good.
CHLOÉ: Can I just add a note, Larry?
LARRY: Yeah, please.
CHLOÉ: I actually think they'd be speaking in French.
