though i don't think any of the sticks will start singing, i do have a few thoughts in mind for which instrument each stick would be if they were to sing! (still i do hope it stays a green and purple thing, great duo)
TSC / Orange - Electric guitar! Not only because he's played electric guitar (but it is one of my reasons), but because his own powers kinda look like electricity! i don't think he'd sound like someone shredding on an electric guitar, but slow, with specific chords (though maybe shredding when he's angry lol). fits with his personality too, with how he's the most tempered of the color gang, in my opinion.
Yellow - Electronic synth! specifically the kind you hear in some techno or lo-fi. is this because he's the one that codes? yes. because he uses redstone? yes. because he's the main stick in the lofi stream? yes. buuut, it's also cause' of how he seems to think. idk how to describe it, but the way yellow makes decisions gives electronic synth vibes.
Green's a clarinet, obviously. showy, fancy, like Squidward.
Blue - Bassoon! slow and low, a woodwind instrument just as chill as he is. i considered a Contrabassoon for awhile but it seems just too low for blue. now, why a woodwind instrument like green? well, both sticks are pretty good at caring for others, green supporting purple, blue's general empathy and chill, but also a little show-y, green being green, blue's flair with cooking (and posing in AvM in real time whilst in the witch's inventory).
Purple is a violin, of course. as tragic as him, my poor fav boi
Red - A whistle. yeah, that's it, a whistle. Why? a few reasons. mostly because it'd be funny for everyone to get all these actual instruments used in performances, whilst red just gets a plain whistle. hear me out though! Red's the most energetic, most loud, most daring stick, but also lacks caution or actually thinking before doing. he literally throws himself at the enemy without caution to punch them in the face repeatedly (king orange). also, in the prank, when he whistles, a Minecraft music note appears (yes i know that's literally just because they're in Minecraft but hear me out lol) (i'm aware he also whistles in hardcore manhunt but there's no music note).
King orange / mango - Trumpet! or any kind of brass instrument, really. whenever he comes on screen throughout avm season 3, you can hear brass instruments blaring, intimidating, imposing, like the villain he was. after his redemption though, it'd probably be a lot less bold than when he was king. (may or may not be biassed by the fact my own grandpa plays the trumpet lmao)
The Chosen One - Electric Bass Guitar! Didn't think i'd come for AvA characters too, did ya? yeah i think this fits perfectly with him, he's got powers like tsc, except a whole lot more experienced, more in control, more confident. a little too confident. yk, how he kinda just tossed tco at the mercenaries and was like "you got this bro"? lol
The Dark Lord - Dubstep. 'wait a minute!' you say, 'dubstep isn't an instrument!' YEAH but all the other electronic instruments i'd consider are taken and i don't wanna repeat, so what?? he's the dark lord! let him be edgy! let him be different! it's not a phase, alan!!
Victim - Cello! need i say more? purple and victim are both tragic characters, and damnit if purple gets the violin, literally *the* tragic instrument, let victim have literally the biggest possible version. More salt to the wound of his name, but why are you booing me?? i'm right!
Mitsi - Harp! i never actually thought about it before this post but after i wrote victim's thing i realized harp would fit Misti, didn't think about it yet so no explanation
this all was really just an excuse for me to ramble about why red would be a whistle and i'm not crazy for taking that one small detail that's probably insignificant seriously LOL
