GX tober Day 18: Jim “Crocodile” Cook

We’re back to the Parent AU with one of my favourite portrayals of an Australian character in anime. I won’t go into detail here but let an old excerpt from on of my favourite fanfics I wrote speak for the scene this time.

Over time it was time to put the kids to bed, but even the four-year-olds were demanding a bedtime story. Jim decided to get a book to read them.

He noticed “the Complete Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie”, the book he had given Syrus and Hassleberry as a baby shower present. It was utterly untouched, much to his dismay.

Well, no time like the present. He cracked open the book and sat down with the children who were cuddled together in cots and blow-up mattresses like a kiddy sleepover. He began to read the book as Alexis sat down beside him while Axel leaned against the door frame, arms crossed.
