I have a different theory how Strange found Loki. Loki and Thor were preoccupied with each other and did not notice that someone had taken a photo of them and posted it on the internet (that was just before these girls approached Thor). Strange saw a picture of Thor and Loki. He hastily makes a portal to trap Loki as quickly as possible.
Another good theory. Literally anything makes more sense than Strange being able to only sense Loki and be clueless about every other danger in universe.
Now that Iβm thinking about itβs kind of...stalky weird that Stephan only keeps an eye on Loki in case he shows up... :D Or maybe it was the time stone that alerted him :D @worstloki Donβt you have a crack ship theory about infinoki?
