7 days of antibiotics later and my ankle is worse than ever. I saw the GP this morning and have now been given two types of antibiotic plus a steroid to try and get the swelling down. I'm straight up struggling to walk.

I've also had a shitty week personally and I am overall struggling to function like a normal human atm.

I went to the crawfish festival yesterday and tried to ignore the intense pain that was starting to come from what I think was a bite of some kind I got thursday afternoon. but after saturday detention for make-up hours and then the crawfish festival it was so bad I was limping on it and my friends finally convinced me to seek medical attention. so I went to an emergency room and they put so much antibiotics in me they had to use two huge needles into my ass and HOLY JESUS FUCK. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HURTS?

it's not the needles. needles honestly never hurt a whole lot on their own if they numb the area. the medicine going in kind of hurt, but the antibiotic are really thick, so essentially they loaded two huge balls of medicine into my thigh muscle and PAIN. like, when the nurse dude finally left the room I was just rolling around swearing. and I limped to the car, got home, and pretty much didn't get up until now.

I'm kind of disappointed. I was supposed to go to a bonfire yesterday, see shakey graves at the festival today, and then go straight to enjoy the fuck out of clinic and I accomplished none of these things. hanging out was nice. but the whole emergency room thing wasn't so much.

Fuck, I told you guys when I got this spider bite that my immune system wouldn't be able to handle it.

I don't have the money to go to the doctors either. Why can't my body just do things right?
