A magazine in the convenience store caught her attention. Big words on the cover piquing her curiosity. She saw it on the news earlier this morning but didn’t pay much attention to it. But to be seeing it again was enough to catch her attention. Something about there being a new murderer made her wonder what else in this city could go wrong.
“hmm..” She hums to herself as she flips through the pages. It felt kind of weird that someone else -other than herself for once- was being called out for murder. It felt strange knowing how this wasn’t her doing. With a sigh and a small frown, Hikari sits the magazine back down on the rack. She turns around sharply on her heel to go walk away only for her to smack right in to someone. Just what she needed...
“What are you--... How long have you been standing there?”

This wasn’t the first time she’s listened to him ramble on about humans. At this point, she’s grown used to it. “And I suppose that’s why you like to toy with them so much, right?” Namie replies, tone dull with what could be identified as boredom.

The sooner they get down to business, the sooner she can get the hell out of Izaya’s place. For whatever reason, being here put her more on edge than usual. Perhaps it’s because she’s here to do business with him rather than being here on her own free will. Hopefully this wouldn’t be a huge waste of time.

“ I’m so tired... ” Shoulders are slumped and a tired expression rests on her face. She made a grave mistake. Paying the price for her poor choices. She should not have pulled an all nighter like that. “ Mind sparing me a day off? ” Like hell he’d actually do that for her. But it was worth asking anyway right?
