it seems like she learned something new about him. but when n mentions buying nendoroids for her, rei is quick to shoot down that offer. hands wave in the air dismissively.

❝ not good enough, ❞ he asserts, holding up a hand. he does not need to do so to stop the arrow, but if he can get her to feel like he is trying, he might be able to draw out what she is holding back. just a little, though -- too much false hope is no good for a sorcerer. the arrow slows to a stop without ever reaching his hand nor his head, and with a flick of his wrist, he repels the flaming arrow with ease.

maybe she needs a hint.

"Oh, me, strange~? Hehe, I take that as a compliment! Being considered NORMAL is BOOOOORING~! Being of the strange? Means you're unique and different than the average person~! Although, I am more of a person. More of a god~," Quinn acknowledge with a sharp toothed grin.

A hand was placed upon his hip, shifting the weight to the leg his hand was above. His finger tapping his cheek, his grin remaining plastered upon his features.

and for a moment, rei just kind of stares at him, trying to make sense of everything he just told her. she can't tell if this guy is being serious or not. is he actually some kind of god? though by now, she should really expect the unexpected.
